We've bagged Russ for a rare London DJ set and he'll be demonstrating just why 2009 is going to be a hugely successful year for him.

The RGB's
(www.myspace.com/thergbs):
These four electro popsters are causing quite a stir right now. With new material on the way in 2009, and with their lead singer having recently guested on Groove Armada's latest single release they are most definitely ones to watch. Lush vocals, keytar-tastic melodies and an energetic live performance being flavour of the day.

Colouring In! (www.myspace.com/wearecolouringin):
Another much hyped live act for your listening pleasure. Colouring In are the live project of house DJ and producer Tom Neville. Expect a harmonious live performance full of moody vocals, beautiful synths and warm melodies.

Robot Disaster (www.myspace.com/therobotdisaster):
Lead singer Gavin Maclaughlin’s exuberant personality and quirky vocals compliment their riotous concord of synths and guitar with finesse. Having supported the likes of Filthy Dukes, Calvin Harris, Dan Le Sac & Scroobius Pip and been signed by Gash Digital all in the space of a few months we can expect even bigger things from the charismatic indie electro outfit as the year progresses.

Gash DJs (www.myspace.com/thepetecarvell, www.myspace.com/jimdamentalistantihero):
This party starting duo are head honchos of the brand spanking new Gash Digital label and in 2007 brought crowd surfing, misbehaving and an entirely new sound into the pristine walls of Pacha Ibiza on a weekly basis. They are regulars at many parties across the UK and have recently added Manchester's Bugged Out to the list. Expect a serious mash up of synths, guitar, vocals and groove ridden bass.

Thick As Thieves (www.myspace.com/thickasthieves)
Danny Bartha and James Hamilton are two DJ's with a serious passion for good music. The twosome are promoters of the forward thinking Voodoo parties and regulars guests at parties across London and the rest of the UK. Expect an extraordinary mix of disco, techno and electro tailored to create the perfect Thursday night party vibe.

Blonde Ambition DJ's (www.myspace.com/blondeambitiondjs)

Synth Girl 'Hurricane' - Gash Digital Remix Competition

We've got a few wicked tracks coming out on Gash Digital over the next few months.

Lions At your Door 'LAYD' finally hits the stores in a couple of weeks time, complete with remixes from Polymorphic, Hooker & De Freitas, Mr Gaspar, Dirty Disco Youth, the Cryptonites and Mailer Daemon. Hot on its tail will be Robot Disaster's 'Guitars are overated' and then the much anticipated 'Sirens' from Heads We Dance. This will come complete with remixes from Russ Chimes (TBC), Hot Pink Delorean and Don Diablo.

Anyway, enough of the promo waffle. Here's your chance to get involved. The track in question here, 'Hurricane' has been doing the rounds for a couple of years now but has never been signed. It was a surefire favourite of ours in the Ibiza Sunshine in 2007 and we've took it upon ourselves to show it the light of day with some brand new remixes for 2009. We're sure you'll agree it sounds just as fresh now as it did then!

We'd like you to try your hands at remixing it and the best of the remixes we receive will stand a chance of featuring on the release in May.

Pocket Piano (Pete Carvell Re-Gash Featuring Lady Clam & Son of Vader)

Here's a little re-gash that we've been playing in most of our sets recently. It features the vocal talents of Austrailia's Lady Clam and Son Of Vader. Look out for a release from the duo on Gash Digital at some point in the future, feel free to steal this off us and blog it, play it out or burn it to CD and feed it to your dog if you feel that way inclined. Enjoy.
